Budget-Friendly: Baon Idea - Egg Roll

Are you in a tight budget right now? Try this budget-friendly baon idea. It's a simple recipe that you can prepare quickly.

What you need:

  • 3 eggs (scrambled)
  • pinch of salt
  • strips of dried seaweed
  • 1-2 tbsp cooking oil
  • grated cheese
Procedure:
  1. Crack the eggs into a mixing bowl and add salt. Whisk until combined.
  2. Lightly grease the frying pan with 1 tbsp cooking oil. Then heat it up.
  3. Pour in 1/2 egg mixture in the pan and over low heat, cook it over until half done, sprinkle with some strips of dried seaweed and cheese.
  4. Then carefully roll the omelet half way from the right to middle. Slide the egg to the right side of the pan and pour remaining mixture. If the pan is too dry, you can grease the pan again before adding the mixture. Once again, sprinkle with strips of dried seaweed and cheese in the mixture.
  5. When it is almost cook, roll it again all the way up. Transfer to a cutting board. Note: Don't cut the egg roll just yet when it is still hot because it will easily break apart so let it cool first.
  6. Slice into bite-size pieces then serve.
Enjoy!
